Full Dark, No Stars Gets 4 out of 5 Roses From One Reviewer

Looks as though Rosebud Book Reviews gives Full Dark, No Stars  a thumbs up.  Sounds to me like you will be on the edge of your seat with the victim/perpetrator scenes which were also presented in The Gingerbread Girl which I liked very much.  I found myself actually holding my breath at times.  It will be interesting to see how the stories in Full Dark, No Stars compare to The Gingerbread Girl.  Click here for full review.

The story opens with the confession of Wilfred James to the murder of his wife, Arlette, following their move to Hemingford, Nebraska onto land willed to Arlette by her father.

Mystery writer, Tess, has been supplementing her writing income for years by doing speaking engagements with no problems. But following a last-minute invitation to a book club 60 miles away, she takes a shortcut home with dire consequences.

Harry Streeter, who is suffering from cancer, decides to make a deal with the devil but, as always, there is a price to pay.

Darcy Anderson learns more about her husband of over twenty years than she would have liked to know when she stumbles literally upon a box under a worktable in their garage.

Blockade Billy will be released in audiobook form by Simon and Schuster on May 25, 2010.  ($14.99 Retail) The narrator will be Craig Wasson actor from Body Double (1984).  I noticed he was born in Eugene, Oregon.  That's not too far from where my husband grew up.  Cool.  

Stephen King's New Book: Full Dark, No Stars

Four previously unpublished novellas to be released tentatively on or around November 9, 2010.    One of the novellas will be about Hemingford Home, Nebraska which is where the 108 year old  black woman was from in The Stand.  If information on why Stephen King chose Hemingfor Home, NE visit US Weekend  (Wondering if there is going to be a connection to The Stand or if it will "stand" alone. ha ha)  I will post more information as it becomes available.
