"You Can't Kill Stephen King" A NEW FILM????

Scene with Ducks and Canoe on Lake Kezar Photographic Poster Print by Robin Siegel, 42x56 (2011 Release Date Unknown)

The name of the film is You Can't Kill Stephen King IMDb, it is about some vacationers that stay at the same lake Lake Kezar in Maine where King and his wife stay during the summer.   I noticed a couple of the characters have the last name Bachman, hmmm  interesting...  I'm not sure if it will be a good film but if you get views of Lake Kezar (I hear it has stunning views) that would make it worthwhile.   I've wanted to see views of that lake for a while now.  The genre of this film is listed as a Comedy and a Horror.

***It does not appear that King is involved with this project.

Things Are Heating Up In Hanover, Maine Thanks To The King Foundation

According to The Sun Journal located in Lewiston, Maine, The Kings' Foundation has provided a $5,000.00 grant to a Gardner Roberts Memorial Library in Hanover for a propane heater and insulation for the ceiling to warm the Victorian-style library.  This will now provide some more heat so that the library may stay open longer during the winter months.  (for full story)
What an adorable library!

Question of the Day #6: Do you think SK has done anything for tourism in Maine?

Yes.  Personally, I feel that his love of the state of Maine is well represented in his writing, which gives the reader a desire to want to visit his beautiful state of Maine (during the summer months, of course).

Under the Dome Trivia

Under The Dome trivia. According to SKMB (Stephen King Message Board) Stephen King got the name for Jim Rennie from (Reny's Department Store, Newcastle, Maine) http://www.renys.com/ which according to Ms. Mod., was also the inspiration for Romeo Burpee, store owner of Burpee's Department Store, Chester's Mill, Maine.  Just love all the hidden Easter Eggs in his writing.  This just makes reading his books that much more interesting.  He is so cool.  No, cooler than cool!

Sorry, the page has been removed.

Where is the final book signing in Maine?

Under The Dome-final book signing-where?
Does anyone know where the final book signing for the tour will be? If so, could you let me in on the secret? I understand that all of the tickets are gone.....I was just wondering.

Update: Under The Dome signing tour Maine

It looks as though there won't be any tickets available for the final Maine signing. The venue where the signing will be taking place was able to sell out of tickets with local advertising, so there will be no more information released about the book signing. I wonder where it is going to be?

You have gotta visit Chester's Mill

Chester's Mill Chamber of Commerce website. For those of you know who know anything about Castle Rock, Maine. Chester's Mill is located near the fictitious town of Castle Rock, Maine. I think this was a great idea to get readers interested in the town setting of Chester's Mill, Maine for Under the Dome. See the whole layout of the town and names of the businesses.
