The Gunslinger from the Dark Tower Series, for sure. Visually it would be amazing and it would also introduce Roland to the world, especially those who don't read. Maybe it would entice those people to begin to read the series. If they could make a movie for Lord of the Rings, why not, the DT Series?

Well, since all the Stephen Kings books I have read are already movies or in production, I would have to agree with the Dark Tower series as well. If done right, this could be a very epic trilogy (or what would you call a series of seven movies - 1 for each book). This would be a really good movie(s) if they get the characters right. Roland would need to be played by someone who would can give off that stoic lone wanderer, short on words and able to deal out justice. Any ideas???
